Who we are:
Grange Farm Timber is a family run saw mill is based at Rosedale Abbey in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors. Based on a hill farm, Henry, the founder and lead, has returned to his roots as a forester in his teens to bring his passion for timber into a reality.
We are [assionate about timber; we hand source, locally where possible, but certainly in the UK. interesting pieces which display their unique character when milled. We enhance that character through the design process, embracing the uniqueness through design.
What we do:
We have 3 offerings: Milling, Wood Drying and Design/Production.
We work nationaly with the Trade and Private clients, including Interior Designers, Architects, Builders, Hobbyists and those that are looking to add a unique touch to their homes.
Milling
It's all about the timber for us, that's where it starts. From sourcing to first cuts on the mill where the uniqueness of the timber begins to show itself.
The Kiln
Drying the wood to XX allows us to supply timber and produce designs suitable for any room, garden or structural project.
Design
Creating something befitting of the elements discovered through milling. From chopping boards to tables to bars, we will work with you.
Where are we:
We are based in the North Yorkshire Moors on an operational hill farm with the Moors and National Parks surrounding us. We have a showroom onsite which you are welcome to visit or simply give us a call to chat about what we can do to bring your project alive with its unique touch.
